Order Security
Our Secure Host (Paypal) uses industry standard Internet encryption with 128 bit SSL software developed by RSA Data. Secure Hosting Limited hold a digital certificate from Verisign (the most established certification authority) which is compatible with Netscape and Microsoft browsers.
When a customer sends an order form hosted on our secure server their browser will automatically inform them that encryption is being used. This form uses 128 bit SSL, the strongest commercially available level of encryption. All your private data will be encrypted at all times whilst in transit over the Internet. You should see a solid padlock in your browser status bar which indicates that the encryption is taking place.
To give you some indication of the level of encryption used, it would take a hacker working with a Pentium computer something like the age of the earth to crack a message encrypted with 128bit SSL.
Furthermore, all data stored on the secure server is protected by a firewall, the specification of which has been recognised by the major banks. A customer's card details are kept confidential at all times, and none of your orders will be seen by anyone other than you unless you request us to access your account for support reasons. |
